My entry for Run & Jump Jam! As usual, scope creep + limited time work on the project resulted in not everything getting done.

Controls

Z/X/Space to jump
Arrow keys to move
R to reset the game
F9 to teleport back to last checkpoint (in case of softlocks)

I had plans for enemies (chasing you after you get the pearls), more indication of what you need to do etc.

NB! I broke end-game reset WITH A LAST MINUTE CHANGE. So in case you need a reset after a succesful run, just reload the page. SORRY!

Other thoughts

The description talks of a teleporter, and that irks me almost the most of the things I didn't have time to implement. The idea is that you have to gather stuff for the teleporter to function, and the game ends when you get everything and enter the teleporter. It's not really _clear_ with just two floating "maybe-receptacles" just what exactly is going on. I might, or might not, make an updated version with that implemented properly.

Great game, loved the art. ps i got stuck under the world!

Can you elaborate what happened? I'm making a 1.1 after-jam version to fix some rough edges, I might be able to fix that bug too.

Ofcourse, i had just gotten the wallgrab and was trying to climb up walls. I dont know exactly where but i climbed up a wall and got above the screen. So i kept climbing and then i started to fall down off screen and got to other rooms.

I think i just climbed over a ledge off screen and fell down.

Alright thanks, I know exactly what's going on. There's another place on the horizontal opposite of that where you can do that too, I'll get them both fixed for the post-jam update!

Oh and btw, not that it matters anymore, but I forgot to put in the description that there's a "respawn at last checkpoint" -button, F9. I've updated the description now tho...
